Letterpress printing embodies 19th-centry romanticism. Each piece is fed through antique letterpress machines, creating a distinct impression and texture that no digital printing can replicate.

Every invitation is made with care, quality, and style. Here’s what to expect.

1. Inspiration and Consultation

Start by exploring our collection of designs and our gallery of past work, or share your inspiration with us. Whether you prefer a timeless classic or a modern aesthetic, we guide you through paper selections, ink colors, and design elements to create a suite that reflects your style.

2. Personalization and Artwork Proof

Once we’ve refined your vision, and received a deposit, you will be assigned a designer who will create a digital proof for your review. This is your opportunity to check details like wording, layout, and colors. We’ll make any necessary adjustments before moving to the letterpress machines.

3. Letterpress Printing

Using our antique presses, we hand-feed each sheet of paper, creating a deep impression that can be seen and felt.

4. Finishing Touches and Assembly

Customize your suite with special details like wax seals, vellum jackets, and envelope liners. Envelope addressing is available for a polished touch.

5. Delivery

Once your stationery is complete, we carefully package and ship your order, ready to be mailed to your guests.

Working with Molly at Oblation Papers has been amazing! The product is just gorgeous and very high-quality. Everyone there listened to the edits that we wanted to make, were able to make them quickly and easily, and had a very quick turnaround, considering they were making the paper from scratch. My daughter's wedding invite had a creative envelope with picture insert that they were able to do, handmade embossed paper, and ribbon with a wax seal to finish the product. It was absolutely beautiful.
