Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about letterpress wedding invitations, save the dates, and more.

Getting Started

Letterpress is a historic method of printing. Plates with raised type and images are inked and pressed into the surface of paper, creating a truly special look and feel.

A press run refers to the setup and printing process for one ink, foil, or emboss on one side of the paper. Each additional ink, foil, or embossing requires an additional hand-fed pass through the press.

A standard order takes approximately 3–4 weeks from start to finish. This includes:

1–2 weeks for the proofing process 2–3 weeks for production Orders that include custom designs, illustrations, ribbon, envelope liners, or other specialty add-ons may take longer.

Our minimum order quantity is 25. While we can print smaller quantities, pricing starts at $250.

We are primarily a letterpress print shop, but we do offer digital printing for guest addressing and return addressing on envelopes.
