Oblation Midnight Flight Bottled Ink (15ml)

A blue-black fountain pen ink with a touch of purple and a dark red sheen, named for the crows that gather over Portland in the later months of the year.

Every year, as the days shorten, crows gather along the West Coast in great numbers, and in Portland they stream in over downtown at dusk to roost for the night. Midnight Flight is our ink for that hour. It looks almost black at first glance and grows richer in blue the longer you look, with a touch of purple and dark red sheen.

It’s a moodier color than the others in our line, made for the season of early evenings, journaling and a lamp on the desk. Our 15ml bottle is a comfortable size for trying a new color or for carrying with you.
