Experience functional beauty and clarity through the clear body
This new edition celebrates 15 years of the #3776 Century with a complete internal redesign—centered around the most significant upgrade yet: an enhanced Slip & Seal Mechanism.
Evolution of the slip and seal mechanism
The improved slip and seal mechanism has extended the airtight performance from about two years to over three years, allowing you to enjoy fresh ink longer than ever before.
Dramatically Improved Slip & Seal Performance
The iconic Slip & Seal cap mechanism has been re-engineered to deliver over 3 years of airtight performance, up from the previous 2. This is more than a 50% improvement in preventing ink from drying out, ensuring a smooth start even after long periods of non-use. In the Demonstrator model, the inner cap is printed or tinted so users can see the seal in action.
Clearer, Cleaner Ink Visibility
The internal barrel surface has been redesigned to be flatter and more transparent, reducing reflections and making ink levels easier to see.
Enhanced Airtight Rear Section
A newly added rubber ring reinforces the joint to prevent loosening during writing and further improves airtightness throughout the pen’s body.
Stronger, More Stable Grip Section
The gripping section has been completely redesigned for improved durability, easier maintenance, and more stable long-form writing. Updated Nib Design The 14k gold nib now features a refined Mt. Fuji engraving—sleeker, more contemporary, and still rooted in the tradition of the original #3776 design.
Streamlined Crown & Cleaner Transparency
The internal nut has been removed from the crown, creating a more open, clear visual line from top to bottom of the pen.
Individually Numbered
Each piece includes a serial number engraved on the cap top, adding exclusivity to this limited release of 2,000 pieces.
